HR Manager
Job Summary
Serve as the HR leader supporting a U.S.-based manufacturing site, responsible for both strategic planning and daily HR operations that enhance workforce efficiency. This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. labor regulations, practical experience in industrial or production settings, and bilingual communication skills (English/Mandarin) to ensure effective talent management, employee relations, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy
Develop and execute human resources strategies aligned with site objectives and workforce optimization goals.
Analyze labor trends to design effective talent acquisition and retention programs.
2. Recruitment & Staffing
Lead full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and supervisory roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
Build and maintain local talent pipelines through partnerships with training institutions and community organizations.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
Manage employee relations, resolve workplace issues, and ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws.
Support a culture of safety by promoting proactive training and continuous improvement in workplace practices.
4. Training & Development
Implement skill development and continuous learning programs relevant to manufacturing operations.
Oversee performance management processes and leadership development initiatives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Manage payroll operations, attendance, and benefits programs, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
Conduct periodic compensation reviews and recommend data-driven adjustments.
6. Cross-Cultural Coordination
Partner with global counterparts to align HR policies, enhance communication, and support cultural integration.
7. HR Systems & Reporting
Maintain HR systems and reporting accuracy to support decision-making, compliance, and employee data integrity.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of HR experience within manufacturing, industrial, or similar operational settings.
Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations.
Skilled in HR information systems, data analysis, and employee engagement strategies.
Attributes: Results-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable engaging with both office and factory floor teams.
Additional Information:
Occasional travel to other sites or partner locations may be required.
Flexibility to support multiple shifts or business needs as required.
